Wow!
After a rousing pre-party for Ena's birthday on the 3rd and then good ol' 4th of July, Ena drug me out to Quincy for a very famous music festival and it was fantastic! Hippies and dancing galore! It took me a few days to get into the swing of things, I am pretty spoiled by Burning Man so it was hard for me to keep my mouth shut from comparing the 2. (And for the record BM is still by far the most supreme event I have been to) But it didnt take long to get grooving to some amazing performances. Hacky sack, frisbee, dollar black-jack, spray-bottle molestation...it was all there.
My mom moved up to Quincy about 6 months ago and she is living about a mile away from the Fairgrounds where the festy was: a daily morning shower this meant I was the cleanest hippy out there! Ena's boyfriend Sean is from Quincy and he introduced us to all his friends that were camped in the back corner of Family Camp which meant you could hear crickets at 2am, but come 7-8ish the rushing roar of playing children messed with your dreams until you couldnt handle the thoughts of doing battle against centurions in an arena lined with high-pitched whining kids. The rest of the crew was a pleasure to hang out with: Liz (who's mom lived in an RV right on the other side of the fence from our camp :) and Nick, Matt and Lauren, Bridgett and Tasha all kept the camp alive and full of laughter. Better luck next time at Boche ball everyone...and next time we are starting a drinking game to finish the Sangria :P
I got back Monday morning to a million work requests...so thats gonna be it for me this week: Trying to recover and make people feel like they are getting their money's worth.
I have pictures coming...I would have them now but this weekend I was holding my camera like a beer and it somehow ended up in my cooler...

At this point I am convinced that without demolitions the WTC buildings would not have fallen after the airplane collisions on 9/11/2001.
Anyone who has not seen this, should:
911 Myteries (Google Video)
My opinion is not based on this video alone, but I think this one does the best job in trying tying to clearly explain the problems with the official 911 story. I also think it is important to watch any rebuttals, like this one:
Screw 911 Mysteries (Google Video)
These are both long (1.5 hours) so try and have a look when you have the time.

Summer is in full swing. The river is my place of comfort and relaxation. Work is winding down so I can take some time off and enjoy the sweetest part of the California year. Next week I will be at High Sierra Music festival (July 5-8) and plan dancing for 4 days straight.
I turned 30 last month! I'm happy to have made alive thus far, and since I made it I suppose I will start being more responsible now or somethin'. We had a rager up at a private disc golf course called toney's mountain disc with a good turnout and an empty keg before the night was through.
Right now I am trying to focus on some of my new hobbies such as beer brewing and gardening. I'm also getting ready for this years burning man event which has become my mecca each year.
It dont stop boys and girls...so try and keep up!

Blog? Internet? Communication? Ahh I remember that stuff now.
Nothing clever here, just straight info about what Ive been up to.
So what's new: Mainly whats new is that for the first time in my life, I have been living in one place for over 2 years! Not too long ago I was changing residences at least once every 6 months. Grass Valley > Rough & Ready > Santa Rosa > Rohnert Park > Ireland > Nevada City > Ireland. I finally came back to GV in 2005 and found a sweet house downtown and have been there ever since. My roomate is my long time friend Lon aka Mr. Blackberry aka Shred on Lon (who continues to play footbag, and hopes to attend Worlds this year!)
I've been trying to focus on making my life simple and effecient. I recently opened a new office in Nevada City and ripped my home office out of my room. Seperation of work space from personal space has been an incredibly good move. Work is good and plentiful, stressful at times but the workplace in our society seems to be built on stress so nothing unusual there.
For a while there I got excited about getting into footbag again. That's over now. I have decided that my body no longer wants me to be a footbag athlete. I have enjoyed all of my time with the sport. I have met tons of wonderful people and had some of the most fun parties and adventures with these people. No regrets, but I am moving in a new direction now.
I started playing on an indoor soccer team recently with pretty much every close friend I have. In General, everyone in our circle of friends seems to be really amped up about getting in shape, eating healthier and living cleaner...its nice that for a change we are actually doing all of the things we always talk about doing.
Last year marked 2 big milestones in our circle: The first marriage and the first pregnancy. We all congratulate Aubri and Jamie for tying the knot and Matt and McKenzie on the news of their coming parenthood. These events cause all of us to look at where we are in our lives, how we have grown up and become the people we will grow old as. I get a good feeling when I think about all the people that make up our community how they support each other and especially how they all love to have fun together. Having fun is still a priority around here. Weather it's costume parties, beer-making parties, going out dancing, there always seems to be something happening.
And then there is Burning Man, the pinnacle of the year for me. This year will be my 3rd burn and for sure it will be epic. This year I hope to have an improved camp layout consisting of 3 domes including one dedicated to one of my favorite things: food. Ive been getting into playing with lasers so I am thinking about incorporating them into some sort of art project for this years event. For a while I was trying to get everyone I knew to go to BM, and I have succedded in many cases. But for those of you who are skeptical still, I'm giving up on you now, It's the perfect place for me, and I would live in a BM style existence 365 days a year if it were possible, but I guess it's not the right place for everyone. Last year we flew over BM in a plane...I must get some of those pictures online, they belong to a friend though, so I must ask if I can post them.
Sigh, just thinking about BM makes other things seem dull :P
No life is good and I have many other things to look forward to. But now it's time to get back to makin' that money. So peace everyone.

Just got back from a fabulous weekend in SF. Me and Liza rocked the 3 hour drive bumpin' to my my new car stereo system, complete with amp+sub: The excellent playlist:
Dubtribe Soundsystem - Bryant Street
Deltron 3030
Fischerspooner - Odessey
Gorillaz - Demon Days
NOFX - White Trash, 3 heebs and a bean
Paul Simon - Graceland
Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters
I got pulled over on I-80 on the way home. When asked if I knew how fast I going I said 'I try to average stay at about 80mph to keep with the flow of traffic'. He let me off saying 87 was too fast, but he appreciated the honesty! What a trip...
So down in SF we spent saturday going to the exploritorium science museum, fighting with little kids over the super bubble making rings and playing with all the other fun exhibits. that night we went to Martin Macks pub on Haight st. and met up with Ahren, Emily, Fletch and Matt. After a great night of drinking and Mels diner, we got a lift from some crazy cabbie who slowed to about 25 before breaking through stop signs. When asked to turn around and go back the other way on the steet he was driving on, he put it in reverse and drove backwards for about 1.5 blocks before turning into a gas station and truning around. He was my idol for the evening.
Sunday we went to hippy hill at golden gate park. A ton of freestyle footbag players showed up that i wasnt expecting: Jeremy Mirken, Steve Goldberg, Carol Wedemyer, Bryan Fournier, Cameron Kennedy, Dustin ?. It was sweet except that we were late and steve was just about ready to leave when we got there...sorry steve :/
So we danced, freestyled and partied in the park all day. The best part for me was how informal the gathering was, everyone kept asking 'who organized this?' and I was like 'I did, but i was just thinking a few of us would go hang out in the sun and get stoned...I had no idea all these people whould show up!' It was perfect. I played 3 hours of freestyle, and I was only planning on kicking or 4-square at the most. Afterwards Ahren led us to a great Thai Resteraunt and then after some winding down we made our way all the home...where it is now snowing HARD. This weather is nuts. OK peace until next time.

I just got back from my first footbag tournament in over 1.5 years...and let me say it was about time....
CSS7 Was a blast! Big thanks to Stephen Barnes for rocking this weekend big style!
I didnt get too much camera action this weekend, but here a couple of my pics
First off: The Embassy was the best host hotel ive ever stayed at. Ive been to 20 or so footbag tourneys and there always tend to be some problem with the host hotel: it usually ends with the host swearing to never hear the word footbag uttered again. Lets face it: we party huge at tourneys, but The Embassy was all about it. Every staffer I talked to there mentioned how our group was fun and easy to deal with. They gave us the back room near the spa to shred apart for all hours of each night.
Thanks also to Brad Kaplan with the van hookup, thanks to brads friend at the car rental shop for basically giving us a 12-seater van for the weekend!
Some of the coolest things that happened:
On the way there lon and I had a stopover in Pheonix, and guess who steps on the plane with us? None other than Ken Somolinos! Totally unplanned and cool.
At the sick 3 competition, Lon hit his sick 3, which would have probably been enough to win. He even decided to quit with 2 tries left. The crowd goes: 'nawww', Jim says: 'Marius, Mobius, Mobius'. Lon busts it, and finishes on a back stall
Last man standing got even me to compete, it was alot of fun and quick, cant wait to see this video.
Late Saturday night, I loose my crew...drunk and hungry i decide to cab it to a diner. (Cant remember the name now...) I got out of the cab seemingly miles away, lost as far as im concerned, and who do i see chillin in the diner? Daryl, Sunny, Jim, and Red...random and very cool
Sunday: for me this is 4-square day. One of the main reasons I came out was to represent our game and run the 4-square comp. I spent the morning signing people up and we ended up with 16 players, at $5 a pop, that made a healthy $60 1st, $15 2nd and $5 3rd place prizes. After some rules clarifications, the game was on and ran smoothly, in fact it was some of the best, most *sportsmanlike* playing ive ever seen. (and I designed 4-sqaure to be controversial for fucks sake!). It was excellent. Steve owned even though Emily opened the finals game with a 7 point early lead. Peter took 2nd and Chad 3rd. I got to play 4-square practially all day with all sorts of different creative and hilarious opponents. Pure laughter for about 4 hours.
Sunday night we got back to hotel just in time for last call on free cocktails. The bartender said we could only leave the bar with 2 drinks at a time, but since I wanted more than 2 drinks he said, ill just put your other drinks behind this sign, come back and get them at your leisure. So sweet. This led nicely into bar snack food fights at the tables.
Next thing we were up in one of the rooms and trying persistantly for over an hour to get a 14+ person circle to get a ceiling hack (everyone had to pass to a niehgbor off of the ceiling) this included 6 or so people seated on the couch and chairs. We were so determined and hardheaded that we eventually got it and the room erupted in cheer and glory.
The whole weekend was like one big high.
On monday we had a lazy day at the civic center park. I even got some people to join me in a few rounds of footbag golf around the greens. I had a good laugh at the local security SUV zooming around the park (he felt very cool in his SUV...it was apparent) making sure people dont fall asleep and coming over to ask Kevin to get out of the tree he was fiming shred from. We joked about being careful not to get sleepy or the security guys would see us from their binocs and notice our eyes starting to blink for too long...next thing you know youd be accosted by some guy yelling out his SUV window while driving in circles around you.
So then it was time to go, and it turned out the Emily was on the same flight with us on the way to pheonix...unexpected and super cool!
Thanks everyone who went for making yet another footbag tournament something never to forget. I had so much fun meeting all of you! Footbag is the best.

Wow!
Time flies...what a year...
Im back in Grass Valley, California now for 7 months...had my 28th Birthday not too long ago. Spent 2 weeks in Italy with Shawna and her dad's Family.
I started an account on live journal:
The Impax LJ
I will post various things there...its kind of silly having 2 blogs but some of my friends are using that nowadays so i will link this blog to that one and vice versa.
Checkout new pics from my recent trip to the Sierra Buttes and the Downiville Downhille, an 18 mile downhill bike ride where you amost die every 10 seconds...
UPDATE March 20, 2006: My Live Journal is officaly dead. Why visit LJ, when you can visit theimpax.vze.com? hmmmmm?

Well, im now back living in Nevada County...the last week has seen me going from a lazy slob sitting around staring at the cieling and pondering how to get back on the other continent to getting up early every morning and driving around Nevada County to perform various computer support tasks. Driving is so crazy here...since ive been gone there the cars on the roads seemed to have doubled!
Nothing real exciting to report, but im sitting here waiting for a phone call which will whisk me away to my next assignment...what better time to write in the blog?
Another good thing to do when your bored and have the internet at your finger tips is visit the web collage by Jamie Zawinski:
http://www.jwz.org/webcollage/
This collage randomly collects images from around the web and auto-collages them...the images change every few minutes...beware that the web is a very gross place at times...and there is no filtering done!

Five Thousand, Four Hundred Miles in Thirty-Two Hours
Back in America! I am filled with bitter-sweet excitement, but overall very happy to be home. Though I have a hard time saying 'home' since I felt so very at home in Ireland only 2 days ago.
Well guys, Im looking forward to seeing all my buddies on this side of the world. I will be spending 4 days in San Fransisco at our long time family friend's house for Thanksgiving Dinner: Clair and Drew and their 3 adopted children: Sophie, Andre, and Zoe. After this Ill be back in the ol Nevada City/Grass Valley area for catching up, I could probably do with a break from the drink right now (...more on that in a second...) but I dont think youd have to twist my arm too much for something like a coming home party (i love excuses to party...dont you?)
So yeah...speaking of parties...I dragged Cliona, my wonderful flatmate and companion for the last year in Dingle, and a posse of other great people on the *absolute tear* the last 4 nights...(Cliona gets special recognition for being the only one to join me all four nights! I hope your mom still likes me after this, Cli...)
Photos from the last weekend!
On sunday Orla took us on a drive to Brandon Point which a side of the Dingle Peninsula I have never seen that has an amazing view of the open Atlantic sea (photos cant do it justice). We also saw a funny house
Well, its back to cali now...lets see how it goes...

My good friend Jessica Dolan expressed an idea I share with her about the outcome of the previous US election with elegant and inspirational words:
George W. Bush. It is getting to be almost a joke. But it's not freakin funny. One week ago, G.W. awarded with he honor of being elected with the most popular votes any president has received in American history. John Kerry has the honor of holding second place. Many people think the two candidates are equally aweful (..and any don't). As an active political bigmouth optimist I am going to echo the sentiment of a good friend in Ireland. This is an unprecidented opportunity for activists, truth-seekers, and plain old people who are engaged in participating in the American political system, who have concern about our global community, who are concerned about the natural environment, and who are concerned with human rights. Now especially is the time for our generation to not become apathetic, but to continue to work toward change. The election of George Bush as American president can only fuel our fire to insist upon it. Rather than powerlessness or defeat, this is our chance to make it our daily work, our life's work, to rectify damage and to change the very things we criticise about the current hypocritical political administration that has infused our lives with fear and powerlessness and wreaked havoc on international relations. It will most likely get worse before it gets better. But as we have seen from our parents' generation, change does not happen quickly. And it doesn't happen at all if we give up. Someone's got to run the country in the future...So, activists and moderates who are sickofitall, G W Bush will be sure to give us, over the next four years, the prime opportunity to work even harder, in whatever way each of us do, toward contributing to a global community that is more peaceful for ourselves & for generations to come.

This place is a magnet...
I extended my stay in Dingle for another week...basically just an excuse to have not one but two going away parties!
Recently I had a chance to sample the nightlife it the neighbouring towns of Kilarney and Tralee which was good since Ive managed to only leave Dingle a handful of times the whole year and a half Ive been here...
Two nights ago I went to Tralee and stayed with my old flatmate Grace and did a grand tour of the town ending up at their new nightclub full of something I have been depreived of here in Dingle...very loud music :)
Photos Photos Photos!
For our favorite pagan holiday I went with a group of friends to Kilarney for a fancy dress costume party (with an 800 euro travel voucher for first place in the costume competition..)
On the way back we dropped off visiting Jessica off at the fabulous Kerry Airport
Photos, you know you love them!
Working backwards then:
I had a visit from my mom at the end of Spetember, we went to Kilarney national Park, visited the Muckross Friary, turned several down offers from persistant jaunting car drivers (in which my mom embarrased the hell out of me by the asking the man who had quite a thick Kerry accent if he could speak 'English') A jaunting car by the way is a horse drawn cart and buggy.
Photos!
Back at the end of may, within the span of a week we had 4 birthdays including my own smashed together. Recently I got some photos from Orla and Jessica who were two of the B-day girls.
How bout them photos!
Ta ta for now

It's official...I have my plane ticket for the 17th of November to return to the USA. They are kicking me out of Ireland anyway...my latest passage through immigration gave me a special stamp that reads 'Get the fuck out.' So I can't be here after the 24th of December even if I wanted...(No X-mas in Ireland!)
I have a return flight back to Heathrow for the 30th of December...so if someone wants to pretend they are Mr. Joe Crain...they can fly over for free! Or if Bush wins the election...then I just hop back on the plane :D
I will be living and working in my home area of Nevada County. At this time I have no plans of leaving NC any time soon...though the thought of returning to Europe will probably always be somewhere in my mind.

From a game played by 3 people...not even enough to fill a 4-square court...to a game played worldwide by a majority of the footbag community...and now a T-Shirt!!
Big thanks to the creator of this T from Switzerland...but stupid me can't remember your name :(
|

|
It only took me a year to do, but I finally did it! Woohoo!
So here is the official most up-to-date rules for 4-square footbag as developed and discussed by myself and Lon Smith and LOTS of other people particularly Steve Goldberg.
The biggest change to the rules is that it is now against the rules to LIE during a VOTE. The previous rules stated that during a VOTE 'players do not have to vote the truth'...well this is no more. When there were only 5 people in the entire world playing 4-square it didn't matter much if people lied, but now with something like 500+ people playing in places all over the world it is important that we all play more honest becuase it can be very intimidating for new-comers and for people who don't know each other very well.
Also in the works in a rule propositions database and a section for variations including local variations that have developed...like when you play in the Dictators, Praha home territory: if you attempt to dig a SPIKE and miss your OUT and not the person who made the SPIKE....so remember this when you go to Prague becuase the local footbag club's rules ALWAYS take precedence over the rules listed here!

Anyway, read about the fun here:

So I made a whole bunch of changes recently...and then somehow Online Boggle landed on the TOP of a google.com search for 'Online Boggle' which cause the number of users to go from about 50 to 500 in about 2 weeks...
Well, the site was only designed for a few of us to play on and needless to say...having this many people on caused some problems...I am still working out weather to try and fix them so that the public can use the site or make it private so only my friends can use it...We will see, but for now its 'Down for Maintenance'

Today I added new photos from the Austrian Footbag Championships...Enjoy!
|

Home for winter will be Dingle, Kerry, Ireland. I have lots of projects to work on including... organizing a footbag club, organizing this website and all the hundereds of photos I have from this summer, writing some new music, and of course working to save money for another summer of travel next year.
If anyone decides to come to Ireland, please let me know! I should be here in Kerry until July of 2004.
Also as a side note...I fixed the Boggle login page and will be working on some updates including 5x5 boggle and bug fixes.
New photos soon....Including The Austrian Footbag Champs.
|

|
Well...Its been a great summer, as you may have heard, and now my pockets are empty and my head is dreaming of a soft pillow back on the Dingle Peninsula...
So I bought myself new plane ticket home for the 23rd of Sept. ... at the oh the great expense of 30 euros.
I still have one big weekend left before I return...and that will be the Austrian Footbag Championships here in Vienna. This will be my first 'open' level competition (pro level) and my first ever actual performance with a plan other than going out in front of the crowd and looking silly. I hope to have a video of this to show all of you when I return.
So thanks to all that made my summer so fucking cool and I hope to see you all again next summer...And of course if you need a break and would like to come spend some time on the Emerald Island with me and the great people of Kerry...don't hesitate to call or write.
|

I flew into Frankfurt on the 2nd of July, then flew from there to Barcelona. I had intended on meeting my buds Aubri and Gaeton in the small country of Andorra which lies along the border between France and Spain. I decided to hitch hike from where my plane landed...
Side note on where my plane landed...(it wasnt Barcelona)...any one who has flown with Ryan Air knows...they may be cheap but you never end up quite in the destination you expect...in this case the 'Barcelona' airport that Ryan air operated too is about 50km north in a smaller but nice town of Girona.
The hitch hiking journey was quite a way to begin my summer of travels...It took all day, and 8 different willing participants. As I steadily climbed higher into the mountains I met some great people and had ample opportunity to practice my spanish. I found the answer to my puzzling question which I had when I first arrived in Girona...Why were the signs in 3 languages? Spanisg, English, and something else I wasnt entirely sure of. Well this was Catalonyan. One of the 4 languages spoken in Spain and the chief language spoken in Catalonya.
About three qurters of the way to Andorra, I lost hope. I was i the middle of nowhere along a windy mountain road and suddenly the rain begain to tumble fro the clouds. I managed to find some shelter next to a house while I waited out the rain. Luck was with me...the rain slowed down and finally someone gave me a lift. 3 vehilcles later I arrived in Andorra...The most beatiful hellhole I have ever seen. Nestled in the tops of the mountains that seperate France and Spain, at around 10,000 feet, sat the results of capitalism combined with zero land use planning run out of control. The tax-free principality has become a haven for entrepeneurs and millionaires in the midst of some of the most beautiful mountain peaks and Valleys. But The valley was no more...the pulluted river that passed through the middle skirted contruction cranes and ran under the many highway passes that marked the center of Andorra. Every building had some shop on it's bottom level and none stood shorter than 5 floors. Every other shop was a motorcycle shop. Anyway my heart sank in this place as I longed for my compainions. After finding an internet cafe...I waited until I could wait no more for an answer from them and never got one. I decided to get myself some rest and head out first thing in the morning. Not being able to bring myself to pay the 50 euros for a hotel room and unable to find a hostel, I made a bed in a field between construction projects. I woke in the morning and quickly caught the bus to Barcelona...
After finding my friends here things changed quickly...All of a sudden I was having a great time. We stayed at a hostel in which our room had a balcony which over looked 'La Rambla', the premier walking strip and street performing block. It was 4th of July and it appeared that in Spain this day was well loved also. At the end of the street stood a statue pf christopher columbus.
The next day we visited the beach, and soaked in the salty Mediterranean. We stayed one more night...but I was convinced I wanted to stay for another month. Instead of staying I decided to move on with my rare chance to travel with good friends from Nevada County.
The next day we landed in Avingnon, France. We stayed at a nice hostel on an Island. We had a game of silent football by the river, while onlookers gave us puzzling looks over our zooms and thwaps.
The next day we visited a beach in ?? and then made north for the Alps. We stayed in Chamonix that night at another great hostel (for the record...France has some of the nicest youth hostels I have ever seen...apart from the Rainbow Hostel...*of course*) The next day we rode the gondola to a peak ?? Midi de Aguil ?? which was right next to Mont Blanc...the tallest of the alps at around 14,000feet. Our hike down led us into waterfalls and backcountry tracks.
Next we landed in Genva, Italy for a night and then to the CinqueTerra (5 lands) along the Mediterranean of Italy. This proved to be the nicest section of the journey as we hiked through all five villages which were for the most part unaccessible by car and were nestled between the sea and steep cliffs. At every village we stopped gor Gelato and a swim in the water.
The next day I broke from my vcrew and got the train to Frankfurt...or at least that was the plan. In Genova I had 15 minutes to get off the train...buy my ticket and get back on the train. First I went to the wrong window...then when I got to the right window they were not accepting credit cards and my 100 euro note was not enough to get to Frankfurt. So I got a ticket to Milano and made the train. In Milano I had 30 minutes to do the same...I hit the wrong window *again* then ba the time I was in the right line...it was closed. I was stuck there for the night and the next train was the 10pm the next night. I found some others that were stranded also and talked them for a bit before deciding to get a train to the next town north which was smaller, and I imagined...nicer than the huge smoggy city of Milano. I said goodbye and headed to Como...right the border of Switzerland and Italy. I fell asleep and missed the stop...and then woke up in Chiasso, Switzerland. Wheich was only the next stop and maybe 5 miles from Como...but it sure was strange waking up to find I was in another county! I saw another guy with similar style...backback, sleeping bag...and asked what his plans were, He replied with the answer I was looking for...Im looking for a plye to sleep in a park for tonight. I joined him and we ended up staying all night and discussing life the universe and everthing (and the answer is not 42!)
In the AM I went back to Como, played some footbag by the lake there then in the evening caught the train to frankfurt. On the train we had: One American who didnt really give a fuck (Zen buddist style that is) (Oh...and that was me BTW), One American with a horrible Franch-English accent, who had been studying French in france for a month (But not in Chambery....lucky for you shawna), and she had some strong (but intelligent) dissagreements with Bush and America. One guy from Spain who was her ally. Another American whi is in the US Military, and a conservitive Ozzie who was for the most part the Army man's ally. Our conversation topic...3 hours of Bush politics and 9-11. I took the part of the devils advocate (as always) arguing with everyone and keeping my true point of view to myself. It was fun...but highly telling and interesting. Basically people are pissed off at Bush...and even those who would support him, are having a hard time doing so. But they still stand their ground.
So...
After a week of on the go I have landed in Frankfurt, Germany. The european footbag championships is this coming weekend...so I have to practice lots ! I have been staying here with friends and practicing...and that I better go and do right now----so caio everybudy...take care!

The last month has seen vistors come and visitors go over here in Dingle. It was a delight having Shawna here for a month, but now sadly...she has gone. A few days later Aubri appeared. I showed him an Irish welcome down at the Small Bridge Pub in town. On Solstice we hiked 14 miles, starting at sea level, ascending to the top of mountain Beenoskee (826m / 2710ft), then along a long plateau of lakes surrounded by peaks. That night we had good weather which allowed for various outdoor solstice celebrations incuding the all night fire on Ventry Beach which I took part in.
Aubri left a few days later, then Marya Hicks arrived...yet another friend from Nevada County....that makes 5 visitors from NC this spring/summer! Nice one guys!
Check out the new photos...
