The South Yuba River Citizen's League is America's largest single watershed environmental organization. This non-profit group based in Nevada County, California has worked for over 15 years to keep the river unpolluted and protect it from big money threats. The South Yuba is visited every year by hundreds of thousands of recreationists for swimming, sun-bathing, kayaking, hiking & camping. The Ecomic and scenic values of the river to the surrounding Nevada County residents is unparalelled. SYRCL's biggest victory came in 1998 when it coordinated a county-wide effort to secure Wild & Scenic legislation for a major section of the South Yuba River. Wild & Scenic has provided permanent protection of this treasure, or even better said, this fountain of youth.

The award winning SYRCL website features rich content detailing their past history, current projects, and future goals. Each page contains beautiful photography by local artists from around the Yuba watershed. Additional Features I developed for this website include database driven calendar, news archives, and online version of SYRCL's quarterly printed periodical The Sierra Citizen.
I also developed a backend content manager for the website, which allows the SYRCL staff to dynamically update the website's calendar, news listing, articles, and also allows staff to process new membership sign-ups which may be done online via the website.
